Apply Now for the FFA in the USA Reporter Program

News

“I applied to the FFA in the USA program to share the story of our local FFA chapters here in Kansas and share our story on a higher level, through this, I not only grew the public view of local FFA chapters, but I also grew my professional skill sets and network,” explains Blaine King, one of two reporters named Kansas Reporter for the FFA in the USA program for 2024-2025.

The National FFA reporter positions allow members the opportunity to amplify their voice. National FFA states, “This opportunity is open to chapter and state reporters or any FFA member who wants to learn how to tell and promote their local stories to showcase the spirit and successes of their chapter, community and state nationally.”

“This position has benefited me by connecting me with industry professionals, all across the country and connected me with other FFA members and fellow reporters who all do FFA a little differently and allowed us to collaborate towards the common goal of promoting FFA,” Blaine continues. “This program also benefited me by helping me become more decisive on my college and career choices in the future.”

Stories, videos, and other media productions can be featured on FFA New Horizons magazine, FFA.org, National FFA social media sites, and more.

“Plus, participants will get top-notch training from professionals in marketing and communications, have access to FFA-branded templates, and receive an exclusive FFA in the USA T-shirt,” National FFA includes.

“I would recommend others to do the same and apply for FFA in the USA especially if you enjoy connecting and sharing the power of FFA, this is a great way to step outside your comfort zone and try something new, especially if you don’t have a typical SAE or you’re just looking to become more active, there’s always something new you can report on, and there’s always a new connection you can make, you just never know where it’s gonna lead you, but it’s all worth it,” Blaine concludes.
