Skyline FFA teamed up with the Skyline school nurse and food service staff to host this year’s Mountain States Crunch Off!! This fun and educational event encouraged students to celebrate healthy eating and local agriculture by enjoying fresh, locally grown produce. Every PK-12 grade student took part in the crunch, showcasing our school’s commitment to supporting local farmers and nutritious food choices.
FFA members played a major role in planning and implementing the event. They helped organize, prepare, and serve a variety of delicious Kansas-grown snacks, including Papa Baldy’s popcorn, Nu Life popped sorghum, zucchini, watermelon, cantaloupe, and peppers. The event was a true community effort celebrating farm-to-school connections, local food, and the hard work of Kansas producers!
