MANHATTAN, Kan. – Supporters across Kansas and beyond rallied on Thursday, Feb. 26, to support agricultural education, raising $106,032.
These contributions were made by 545 individual donors during Give FFA Day. The outpouring of support underscores a strong commitment to the 14,159 Kansas FFA members in 242 FFA chapters across Kansas.
Kansas once again ranked among the nation’s leaders in Give FFA Day participation, finishing third in giving. Donors represented 105 Kansas counties, all 50 states, and even contributions from beyond U.S. borders—demonstrating the broad reach and strong impact of Kansas FFA.
“Give FFA Day shows the incredible strength of the FFA community,” said Lillian Hulse, Kansas FFA state president. “The generosity of our supporters means more opportunities for Kansas FFA members to grow as leaders, explore careers, and make a difference in their communities. We are grateful for every person who chose to invest in the future of agriculture through this day of giving.”
Funds raised on Give FFA Day directly support Kansas FFA programs, including leadership training, career development events, classroom resources, educator support, and the iconic blue jackets that unite members across the state.
The success of the day would not have been possible without the generous matching partners whose commitments helped amplify gifts and inspire donors throughout the day: Mustang Seeds, Ag Partners Cooperative, John and Jennifer Niemann, Orrin and Beth Holle, ICEV, S&S Rock Crushing, Keith and Sheri Westervelt, David and DeRhonda Newby, Jerry and Anita DeWeese, Mark Mayfield, Chris Schmidt and the Kansas FFA Foundation Board of Trustees. Their combined $32,250 match encouraged broad participation and doubled the impact of donations through the day.
Building on this momentum, the Kansas FFA Foundation looks forward to celebrating with many at the 98th Kansas FFA Convention, May 27–29, 2026, at Kansas State University.
