At the conclusion of day one here at the 94th Kansas FFA Convention, the theme of, “Unite,” has impacted members, chapters, advisors, and supports. Today felt like a true reunion surrounding the intentional improvement of all agricultural enthusiasts here in Kansas. Members representing the more than 10,800 members gathered to showcase skills, talents, teamwork, and knowledge gained through participation in Leadership Development Events (LDEs): Prepared Public Speaking, Parliamentary Procedure, Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Ag Issues Forum, Novice Parliamentary Procedure, and Creed Speaking.
Delegates conducted business, members explored new ideas through the Opportunity Fair and participated in leadership workshops.
During the Opening Session of Convention, winners in the Parliamentary Procedure, Novice Parliamentary Procedure and Creed Speaking were announced.

FFA members will end their first night of convention at FFA Night at the LEAP Trampoline Park or at a Kick-off Concert at The Hat with Corey Kent.
