Chapman FFA Chapter makes donation to support fundraising effort

Foundation News NC Chapman

CHAPMAN, Kan. – The Chapman FFA Chapter is giving back by donating $750 from selling “Support Kansas Agriculture” license plates to the Kansas FFA Foundation’s Endowment Campaign. This donation is more than just a contribution—it’s an investment in the future of agricultural education and leadership in Kansas. Chapman FFA members are proud to play a role in ensuring that future generations of students have the same opportunities to grow, learn, and lead in the agriculture industry.

Chapman FFA members, who are also enrolled in T-Works, a school-based business, made this fundraising effort successful. These students designed, printed, and marketed the plates, gaining valuable hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and business management while supporting a cause they deeply believe in.

“We wanted to do something that not only supports agriculture today but also makes a lasting impact for future generations of FFA members,” said Josie Strauss, Chapman FFA President. “By donating to the Kansas FFA Foundation’s Endowment Campaign, we are investing in the continued success of Kansas FFA and the students who will lead our industry in the years to come.”

The Kansas FFA Foundation has been actively working to secure funding that will ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of FFA programs throughout the state. Johanna Anderes, Development Coordinator of the Kansas FFA Foundation, expressed deep gratitude for Chapman FFA’s generous contribution.

“The endowment is critical to ensuring that Kansas FFA remains strong and continues to provide opportunities for students for generations to come,” said Anderes. “We are incredibly grateful for the Chapman FFA Chapter’s support and their dedication to investing in the future of agricultural education.”

The Kansas FFA Foundation has currently raised $3.5 million of its $5 million goal for the endowment. Every donation brings the organization closer to ensuring a stronger future for Kansas FFA, providing essential resources, scholarships, and leadership development opportunities for students across the state.

The Chapman FFA Chapter will be using this to take part in the 2025 Kansas FFA Chapter Challenge which encourages chapters statewide to give to the historic Endowment Campaign. More information on the chapter challenge can be found here.
