Sweetheart

The History of Sweethearts

Started in 1966, the State FFA Sweetheart was chosen from Kansas FFA females as a representative of the association, and worked with the state officer team to promote FFA. Sweethearts were selected at the chapter, district and state levels. Sweethearts were often identified by their tiaras and their unique FFA apparel (a corduroy cape, jewerly and even a white corduroy jacket).
