Show your support for Kansas FFA on the road!

Beginning January 1, 2026, the Kansas FFA Distinctive License Plates support the Kansas FFA Foundation and help strengthen school-based agricultural education and FFA chapters across Kansas. Funds raised through the plate provide resources, leadership development, and educational opportunities that prepare students for success in agriculture and beyond.

Who can buy a Kansas FFA plate?

Anyone with a car or truck registered in Kansas can purchase a Kansas FFA distinctive plate. The vehicle weight limit is 20,000 pounds.

How much does the plate cost?

The cost for a Kansas FFA license plate is an annual donation of $50 for each vehicle. The first time you purchase the plate you will pay a one-time specialty plate charge of $48.50 plus applicable fees to your county treasurer.

How do I get my own Kansas FFA plate?

To get the tag, simply visit your county treasurer and let them know you’re interested in the Kansas FFA plate! The Kansas FFA Foundation will receive a monthly report from the treasurer’s office with all tag donations.

Is my payment tax deductible?

Your $50 donation to the Kansas FFA Foundation each year is tax-deductible. 

Can I personalize the tag?

Yes! The Kansas FFA tags can be personalized based on availability. Check with your local county treasurers office to verify availability of your personalization.
