District Leadership School

The following events are hosted as a part of the District Leadership Schools to determine the representatives from the district to participate in the state competitions. Check your district guidelines for specific information.
The Leadership Information Test will consist of 100 questions taken from the Leadership Information Question Bank. The questions in the exam can be written either as true/false, matching and/or multiple-choice type questions. Forty (40) minutes will be allowed for participants to complete the test.
All questions for the exam are gathered from the question bank. They will be agriculture and FFA related questions, covering the scope of the FFA organization in its entirety, including history, dates, people, programs, activities, and current events.

Recognition
Individual
Top 10 Individuals from across the state will be recognized at the State FFA Convention. They will receive the following recognition items:
High individual – Plaque and gold medal
Second – Tenth individuals – Certificates and medals
Chapter
Top five teams from across the state will be recognized at the State FFA Convention. They will receive the following recognition items:
First – Third place teams – Plaque and medals for six team members
Fourth and Fifth place teams – Certificates
The first and second place teams in the district of Conduct of Chapter Meeting LDE will qualify compete in the State Conduct of Chapter Meeting LDE during the State FFA Convention.
Teams that didn’t receive first or second place in their respective district have an opportunity to participate in the qualifying event held following the conclusion of the District Leadership Schools.
ALL the parliamentary procedure team spots will be filled for participation – 14 Conduct of Meeting teams.
The first and second place teams in the area of Parliamentary Procedure – Senior will qualify compete in the State Parliamentary Procedure – Senior LDE during the State FFA Convention. Registration is required to participate in the state event.
Teams that didn’t receive first or second place in their respective district have an opportunity to participate in the qualifying event held following the conclusion of the District Leadership Schools.
ALL the parliamentary procedure team spots will be filled for participation – 15 Senior teams.
