MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Kansas FFA Foundation is thrilled to announce the incredible success of Give FFA Day 2025, held on Thursday, February 20. Thanks to the generosity of nearly 400 donors, the Foundation raised over $59,000 in just 24 hours, making this the most successful Give FFA Day in Kansas history. Kansas also ranked third nationally in state giving, highlighting the widespread support for agricultural education and FFA programs. Previously, the record was $23,000.

The Foundation’s $40,000 goal was met by 2:00 p.m., reflecting its deep commitment to agricultural education. Donations came from all 105 Kansas counties, 24 states, Washington, D.C., and Canada, demonstrating its broad dedication to Kansas FFA.

“Give FFA Day’s success was incredible,” said Jory Ratzlaff, State FFA President. “Kansas ranking in the top three nationwide shows the strong support for our members. This achievement means more opportunities for nearly 14,000 Kansas FFA members. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.”

Funds raised will directly support FFA members, support agricultural educators, and provide leadership development, career readiness, and hands-on learning experiences for students across the state.

“We are incredibly grateful for our donors,” said Kevin Davis, Kansas FFA Foundation Board of Trustees. “Their generosity strengthens FFA programs, equips educators, and creates life-changing opportunities for students. Give FFA Day 2025 proves the collective commitment to Kansas agriculture’s future.”

The Kansas FFA Foundation Board of Trustees appreciates all the donors and matching partners who helped amplify contributions: Mustang Seed, Ag Partners Cooperative, Keith and Sheri Westervelt, Grass and Grain Newspaper, Jerry and Anita DeWeese, Mark Mayfield, S&S Rock Crushing, Kansas State University Ag Education Club, and the Kansas FFA Foundation Board of Trustees.

Building on this success, the Kansas FFA Foundation looks forward to welcoming chapters and guests to the 97th Kansas FFA Convention, which will be held at Kansas State University from May 27 to May 30, 2025.
